The Second Cycle Degree Course in Sciences and Technologies for Environment and Resources provides a complete and specialised training in the fields of: environmental protection and remediation; sustainability of territorial development and use of resources; managerial and evaluative aspects of environmental systems.
Graduates in Sciences and Technologies for Environment and Resources can find an occupation in both private and public sectors, especially for functions of responsibility for the analysis, assessment and management of environmental systems. Graduates can also be employed for roles requiring specific expertise in: environmental data processing and integrated environmental measures; pollution assessment and depollution and bioremediation planning/ management; waste and emissions integrated management; environmental certification and management systems; environmental impact assessment (EIA); strategic environmental assessment (SEA); incidence assessment; environmental support to planning, and environmental education.
The Second Cycle Degree Course in Sciences and Technologies for Environment and Resources prepares graduates for freelance work as well as for further studies in PhD courses, mainly in environmental and ecological sciences. The degree course lasts two years and is structured into four semesters. The whole number of subjects accounts for 120 ECTS credits.
